"Willy" is a highly driven Information Technology Leader with over 2 decades of experience helping companies deal with the relentless pace of technology change with a specific focus on Managed Services, Network Virtualization, IOT, Network Security and Cloud Enablement.
His experience working with some of the most influential CIOs and IT Leaders has given insight into some of the biggest challenges that face companies today and how technology based solutions can be leveraged to help them reach their IT Goals and Objectives.
Willy will work closely with all levels of an organization to understand each customer’s specific needs and design a customized solution that will help them reach their short and long term business objectives.

Curt Melin - Senior Technology Consultant
Curt brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Smart Dog IT, with an impressive 27-year career at Verizon. Throughout his tenure, Curt has worked across various silos, including datacenter services, cloud services, and network services. His last five years at Verizon were particularly impactful, as he supported the largest healthcare clients in St. Louis and Kansas City, successfully deploying early cloud offerings to major healthcare institutions.
Curt's journey with Verizon culminated in 2018 when he took a well-deserved early retirement during a company-wide reduction in force. This transition allowed him to focus on personal health and spend time as a home manager in Florida before returning to Kansas City. Since then, Curt has leveraged his extensive network and industry knowledge as a consultant, working closely with former clients and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Curt is passionate about family and community. He has coached soccer for Sporting BlueValley, (3 time division winner), and is a dedicated father to five children, with one still at home. His move to the countryside reflects his desire for a balanced life, blending professional excellence with personal fulfillment.
